What an adventure and Mike was there every step of the way! A very challenging sellers market brought with it more than one curve ball and Mike knew just how to handle every one. As a first time homebuyer and also living out of state during the whole process, I was pretty nervous and stressed going into it. But Mike really made the experience a breeze! I was referred to him by my mother, who he recently helped buy a house in the area too. He knows the area well and is so experienced and good at what he does. He is very patient and answered every question I had, sometime even before I asked it! I felt very comfortable putting my trust in Mike and I am so grateful to him for helping us find a great house.

Mike is a first-rate professional and his 17+ years of experience and vast network is essential to finding the right home in this exceptionally busy real estate market. He helped me find my dream home just within 6 hours of it being active on the market. This home had multiple showings within hours of the listing, but with Mike's wide network of experts in the real estate market and his prompt communication with the listing agent, I was able to place an offer the same day and lock in my offer within 2 days. If it weren't for his flexibility, responsiveness, and knowledge of the market, I probably would've lost the offer due to the home being in such a highly sought-out location. Although this was my first home buying experience, the process was so smooth and there was never a point I felt lost because he was very patient with me and did all the leg work. I've experienced several real estate agents before Mike and he has a genuine care for all his customers-a trait that is difficult to find in a high-commission based business-and will give you his honest opinion even if it may not benefit him. I recently moved to Virginia Beach from Texas and I was searching for a realtor to help me find a home here. I read Michael's reviews and decided to give him a call. After talking to Mike, I decided to use him to help me in my home search and I am so glad that I decided to go with Mike. He grew up here and knows the area so well. Mike is very professional and very knowledgeable about the local real estate market and he also has a great personality and sense of humor. Being first time home buyers AND relocating, we were obviously very nervous about the giant task ahead of us. When we first spoke with Mike, I knew that he would be the right person to help us navigate the path ahead. There are a lot of steps to home buying, and he kept us up to date and let us know the next step so we could plan. Mike was great to work with. I especially appreciated that he gave my wife and I "space" to make our decision while we were in the buying process; I never felt like he was trying to push us into any particular home. He made an earnest effort to learn our likes and dislikes, and did a good job of finding MLS listings we might be interested in. He was also flexible in that he worked into our viewing plan any listings I got to first; so in that regard we made a good research team. Our experience with him marked only our 2nd home purchase, so we were a little rusty. He helped us make up for this by doing a great job of managing our expectations; I always felt like I was well-informed about what steps were next, particularly at the point of closing. Always on time...personable...easy to talk to and get along with...good sense of humor; all those traits of Mike's made the process of home-buying less stressful than it can otherwise be. I also liked it that he was not afraid to give me his honest opinion when I asked him for it; this was especially important to me because we were not looking for our "forever home" and I wanted his unfiltered opinion about the re-sale prospects of the homes we were considering based on market trends. Bottom line...I would gladly have Mike as my agent again. He's honest, straight-forward, and a good man. I give him an A+ for him doing right by us.

Mike was tireless and tenacious in helping us purchase our condo. He spent time to understand our budget and desired location, and then visited roughly 15 different properties, some more than once. Once we made an offer he was diligent in following up with the listing agent to move the sale through the process. He was also patient in answering all of our questions and making sure we completed our necessary obligations in order to close on time. Mike was an excellent teammate the whole way through.

Mike helped me and my husband sell our house quickly and professionally. He's an awesome communicator, and was never hard to reach, which we greatly appreciated. Our house sold in one day, and we had the flexibility of a slower than usual closing to accommodate our living situation, thanks to Mike. As a first time buyer, I can say that I had a really great experience working with Mike. He was very patient and made sure to explain everything that was going on throughout the entire process. Mike was an exceptional realtor to work with. He was extremely attentive and dedicated to his profession. With his help, our home was listed and under contract in 3.5 days. Leading up to that, Mike was very communicative and realistic, letting us know what needed to be done for the optimal listing (little details like touching up paint, moving a piece of furniture, etc.). Mike had my house under contract 12 hours after it hit the market. He gave me all the right tips to get my house ready to sell, and attract a buyer. When it came to some repairs, Mike had a list of contacts to use that would get me what I needed for a extremely fair price. When it came to negotiations, Mike kept my best interest and also coached me to not lose sight of the big picture. For me that was to sell as fast as possible, as I was relocating out of state and my house was sitting empty. Mike knows real estate, professionalism, and will do right by you.

Mike is a Great Realtor and a Genuine Person. Have had a beach condo for many years. During that time I had three terrible renters and finally could not take another hit. Mike suggested things for me to get taken care of and what to update to get the best possible price and the fastest sell that I could. Day before the closing, the water heater exploded and the potential buyers were ready to walk. Mike convinced the buyers, through their agent to stay the course and the deal was done. My family was making a huge move down to Virginia Beach from New England and Michael was there every step of the way. He was understanding of our accelerated timeline and our constant questions about why we couldn't see houses that we found on other "real estate search engines".
